Watch Miracle on 34th Street at the New Theatre

Who doesn’t love this Christmas classic? Whether you watched the 1947 film or the 1994 version, your Christmas wouldn’t have been complete without it. And this year, it’s hitting the stage in Cardiff’s New Theatre. Not a believer of Santa? Well, all the more reason for you to go! Kris Kringle, who claims to be the real Santa Claus, is sure to change your mind in this fantastic performance.

However, you’ll need to book your tickets now. The musical is only showing from 1st – 5th December so it’ll sell out quickly. Book now to avoid missing out!

The Great Cardiff Bay Santa & Elf Dash

Fancy some fun that’s not only festive, but charitable too? Then why not sign yourself up for The Great Cardiff Bay Santa & Elf Dash. That’s right, it’s a dash, not a race. So, it doesn’t matter if you run, jog or walk around Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay, what matters is that you’ll be saving lives in Wales by taking part in this event, organised by Welsh Hearts.

And the best bit is that you get to have a laugh as you do it! Demonstrate your Christmas spirit by wearing fancy dress. The Oval Basin is where the warm up starts at 10:30am and at 11am; santas and elves will be raising much needed money for The Heart Charity for Wales.

Visit Cardiff Christmas Market

With over 100 businesses selling a range of arts and crafts as well as seasonal food and drink, this makes for the perfect spot to do a bit of present hunting whilst satisfying your taste buds in the process! Wander around the pedestrianised streets of Cardiff city centre with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate and take a look at the range of local, predominantly Welsh products that are on offer.

And once you’ve found the perfect present for friends, family or your secret Santa, why not stroll over to Winter Wonderland? If you’re heading into the city centre for the Christmas Market, you may as well immerse yourself in all things Christmassy, right?
