If you love afternoon tea then you’ll fall head over heels for the feast of treats that’s currently on the menu at Bryn Meadows Hotel and Spa. Roald Dahl fans, you can indulge in a spread of goodies inspired by the enchanting author’s most famous books.

Head into the city centre over the weekend of the 17th and 18th September and enjoy a unique celebration of the Welsh author to mark his centenary. From 1pm on Saturday 17th September, you’ll see ‘unexpected’ spectacles and thousands of performers dotted all over the city.
Whilst locations of these happenings won’t be revealed until the day, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the streets and buildings. The event runs right up until 9:30pm and is completely free so there’s no excuse not to go along!
Sunday consists of two events, one of which is unfortunately sold out. However, The Great Pyjama Picnic will take place at Coopers Field in Bute Park between 2-5pm.
